When your boss appears on Facebook suddenly

A few days ago, I had a chat with my friend who is in Taiwan and tries to find the next work. He said when he had an interview with a company; the company’s manager asked him a question, “Do you use social network services?”; And then, my friend answered “Yes”. That manager asked another question “which website do you user and could I see your profile.”

My friend asked me if your present boss wants to see your profile, would you accept this request.

This is a very interesting question. According to Facebook (2008), there are around 70 members. Now, most media talk a lot about Facebook. So some managers try to sign up Facebook and want to find someone who is their friend or colleague on the Facebook. Recently, I read some articles related to what should I do, if my boss ask me want to be my friends. This one descried this situation happened. Someone said he will reject this request because he wants have some private after working. The other said maybe he will change his profile, photos, comments, etc, in order to make his Facebook become normal profile.

If you have the same situation, what would you do?

What is your answer?

Yes

Only Boss

Only Co-worker

No
